WILLBLAGROVE

  Will Blagrove is a driven screen actor hailing from Jamaica Queens, NY where he was raised with a Jamaican & British upbringing.  After graduating with a pre-law degree from St. Johns University, he went on to study under the tutelage of famed acting teacher Bill Esper at William Esper Studio in Manhattan.  

     Blagrove guest starred on the hit ABC series “Quantico” as well as numerous tv shows including Comedy Central's cult classic “Broad City”, NBC's “Mysteries of Laura”, “Law & Order SVU”, CW's “Gossip Girl” and Sony Playstation's series “Powers” where he played a superhero under the guise 'Righteous Thunder' opposite Sharlto Copley.

      On the big screen, he appeared in Lionsgate Films' blockbuster trilogy “Divergent.” He has worked with esteemed director Spike Lee on a spot for the UNCF, and was cast by Academy Award winning director, James L. Brooks in the romantic comedy “How Do You Know”, working alongside Paul Rudd.  

      He stars in Relativity Media's gritty indie drama “Cost of a Soul” now on DVD where he garnered rave reviews for his role as DD Davis, a soldier returning home from the war in Iraq to a new war in Philadelphia.  Comingsoon.net's, Ed Douglas writes, “The real breakout star of the film is Will Blagrove...”

      In New York, Will cut his teeth on stage in plays including Shakespeare's “A Midsummer Night's Dream” and Harper Lee's “To Kill a Mockingbird.”  In Hollywood, he continued his affinity for theater and gained critical acclaim in Buddy Farmer's original piece, “Alabama Baggage.”  LA Times, Philip Brandes had this to say about his performance, “Blagrove's Ben is the standout performance, aching with emotional complexity and ambivalence steeped in guilt, shame, and fear.”  

       Blagrove can also be heard voicing the role of Nabu on Nickelodeon's animated series “Winx Club”, the role of Daddy Lion in “Go Diego Go” alongside Rosie Perez, and is currently recurring as the new secret agent super wing, Chase, on the cartoon “Super Wings.”  In addition to his work in animation, he's known for the iconic role of Jackson Ellis in the NBA 2K video game franchise.  

        Catch Will on Season 2 of Netflix's award winning TV series “Bloodline” as well as a guest starring role in the final season of NBC's “Grimm.”  In 2020, he landed a lead role in the Christmas movie “A Christmas Surprise” playing opposite Wendy Raquel Robinson & Lethal Weapon's Keesha Sharp.  In 2021 he appeared in the new movie “Sweet Girl” starring Jason Momoa and a recurring role on CW's Black Lightning.  He is currently recurring on Netflix animated series "Inside Job" and has an upcoming recurring role on Hulu's tv series "Life & Beth" starring Amy Schumer.
